I'm a fan of this book series. The area where the stories take place, the main characters (Robicheaux, Clete Purcell, Alafair, and generally the new characters for each story).
This book is OK - good enough to finish - but the protagonist(s) and the reason for the murders felt forced, even contrived, to me.
Oh well, one out of 22 is a great record.
