Forgotten Tales of Illinois

Another mildly interesting book on Illinois history / stories.  There are a couple of good ones. Some take place at the turn of the century where the pace of life was so different from today. One is about an area in Southern Illinois near the town of Okawville. Mineral water was discovered there that people believed cured their ailments. Common at that time since medical treatments did not exist for aches and pains. 

Book is a worthwhile read.
