Almost 10 years ago, I received an Email from The Castle Theatre about an artist named Samantha Fish performing there in late December.

I thought, "Samantha FISH?" What kind of stage name is that?

Looking at the picture, I again wondered about this artist; a young blonde girl from Kansas City playing the blues / rock?

Huh.

I did some web searching and stumbled upon the video below.

WOW!

Two things grabbed me; her guitar playing on that homemade cigar-box guitar, and her fabulous vocals - so expressive!

I want to the show. I've been a fan since.
