I stumbled upon the "Bruno, Chief of Police" series last month. Man, I really like it.


It is set in a small village in rural France, just East of Bordeaux. Very good characters, but it is the description of the area and the food... the FOOD that is just too.... tasty.

Continuing my obsession of late with the music of Eric Dolphy. I remember the first time I heard an Eric Dolphy solo, it came blasting out of my speakers while listening to "The Great Concert of Charles Mingus." Raw, passionate, and beautiful.
